Our Kindy 3 & 4 classes have been learning about Community Helpers, and to extend on this the Armadale Fire Station visited PVS today. Students had the opportunity to meet the firefighters and learn about how they help save the community in an emergency. They also watched them use the big fire hose and turn on the trucks flashing lights. The incursion finished with an educational story on fire safety, and lots of questions about how firefighters save kittens stuck in trees.
