Multi Age Learning

At Pioneer Village School we recognise that all children develop at different ages, and through the use of multi-age groupings we are able to better cater for each child’s particular learning requirements.

Early Years

The Early Years programs at Pioneer Village School provide exciting opportunities for children to begin their educational journey in a unique and vibrant setting.

Middle to Upper Primary

Pioneer Village School classes are innovative, energising, and exciting. We are privileged to work in partnership with families to inspire and motivate students to advance their education.

Specialist Classes

In addition to the core curriculum, Pioneer Village School provides specialist learning programs in the areas of The Arts, Language, and Sport. We also support students in their learning through targeted education support, and gifted and talented programs.

Mathematics

The application of mathematics in our everyday lives – particularly with the increase in use of technology – has made effective teaching of mathematics critical.

Talk for Writing

T4W is a unique process that uses spoken activities to develop writing skills. Quality writing is created by first expanding and developing students’ oral language skills and then teaching the necessary steps for exceptional sentence, paragraph and text construction.

STEAM

At its most basic, STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths. But STEAM education is far more that just sticking those subject titles together! STEAM is an educational approach to learning that integrates all these subjects, and enables students to understand how scientific methods can be applied to everyday life.
