Excellence in education
Middle to Upper Primary
Pioneer Village School classes are innovative, energising, and exciting. We are privileged to work in partnership with families to inspire and motivate students to advance their education.
The primary education team are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment in which to learn. They deliver rich, robust, varied programs, and provide an engaging curriculum using a balance of traditional and modern teaching approaches, supported by the use of technology.
Our values identify the need for inclusion, trust, mutual respect, and diversity, and promote the strengthening of relationships between school and home. Our aim is for our students to develop a strong sense of identity and belonging, thus encouraging them to connect with their communities and contribute positively to society and the world in which they live.
As students move through the school they are exposed to a more structured learning environment which not only consolidates the skills learnt in their earlier years, but prepares them for high school by encouraging students to become self-disciplined and to take ownership of their own learning.
Progress is carefully monitored using a variety of assessment techniques and parents are informed regularly of their child’s progress. Information and communication technologies are facilitated by the provision of Notebooks and iPads in classrooms, which strengthens the delivery of the Western Australian Curriculum.
