The Mad Hatter’s Parade and Grandparent’s Day made a return to Pioneer Village School after a one-year hiatus. The school community came out in what seemed like record numbers to see all the colourful and elaborate hats that students and parents created. Grandparents were then invited back to their grandchild’s classroom for activities ranging from acrostics, drawing favourite memories and board games. Finally, we were able to enjoy a banquet of food for morning tea generously supplied by the families at Pioneer Village. I want to say a big thank you to everyone who made the day a success!
