This Term we had our athletics carnival for 2020. We started off the day with our K4’s out on the oval as they completed their obstacle course and their novelty events before racing 50m! It was great to see all of the students out there giving it their best. Thank you to all of the parents who joined in with them and made it a day to remember.
The racing began with our 200m races followed by the 50m and the 100m. These races were extremely competitive and it was amazing to see the support from fellow students and parents.
Just before lunch we began the relay races which were a great event for team morale. Thank you to all the students for your support and thank you to the pre primary’s who stepped up to race in the yr1/2 relay.
To finish off before lunch we invited the parents/spectators to compete in a 50m sprint! We had some really competitive races which I loved to watch! Then we had the little siblings come out to complete their 25m race which they all ran super well.
After lunch we completed the novelty events which tested out our skills and team work. It was amazing to see the team spirit on show!
Thank you to all of the students, staff, parents/spectators, and the P&F for all of your help and support. The students had a great day and it was great to see the amount of support and praise each and every student received during their events.
