Enrolment Policies & Procedures
Enrolment Policy
Pioneer Village School’s enrolment and attendance procedures and practices comply with all legal requirements. Pioneer Village School (PVS) offers places where vacancies occur to support multi-aged groupings. PVS has a responsibility to School Staff and to the community to fill any vacancies with suitable new students. This Policy has been formulated to clearly define the process to be taken by both the prospective family and the School staff.
Home Learning Policy
This policy provides a framework to support students, families and teachers with the implementation and management of home learning. This policy aims to promote balance and curiosity in the lives of our students and to foster positive lifelong learning habits.
Attendance Policy
It is crucial that students develop habits of regular attendance at an early age. Poor patterns of attendance place students at risk of not achieving their educational, as well as social and emotional potential. Low attendance rates may also affect the quality of choices they are able to make in later life.
Uniform Policy
The aim of the school uniform is to give a child a sense of belonging and pride in their school. It contributes to the maintenance of a positive school tone and promotes equity within the school environment.
Student Collection Policy
Pioneer Village School aims to provide a safe environment and ensure all students are adequately supervised. It is an expectation that all parents or guardians collect children from school at 3:00pm.
